WA STEM Connect is a bi-annual program hosted by Scitech for WA Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) providers. The program aims to connect and collaborate STEM providers on projects and resources to create an active and vibrant STEM community in Western Australia.

 

The program is broken down into two events; 

Better Together - an exclusive event for Western Australian STEM Organisations to connect and collaborate.

Content Driven - an event for the broader community, including STEM education providers. These events highlight the current outreach activities in a STEM sector, with the goal of demonstrating the interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities. 

 

Each event places emphasis on networking with variations to include guest speakers and panel discussions on best practices in the community. 

 

WA STEM Connect aims to unite the Western Australian STEM Community by providing a space for connections to be made and to facilitate a forum in which we can encourage better engagement with STEM in the WA community.

 

Lastly, STEM Organisations are encouraged to write a submission for the upcoming WA STEM Connect Directory; A comprehensive document that will be shared with the community to highlight services and programs offered by each organisation, and what connection each organisation is seeking in the coming year.
