National Science Week State Grants Now Open!

Updated: Mar 29, 2022

Inspiring Western Australia have opened applications for the 2022 National Science Week grants. Funding is provided to those organisations and community groups wishing to run an event for National Science Week in their community.

This year, there are two grants of offer, small and mid-tier.

Small Grants

Grants of up to $2,500 (excl. GST) are on offer to organisations wishing to host an event in the month of August in regional communities.

In 2021, the small grants funded a total of seventeen events. One grant was used to fund a digital literacy program in the Kimberly region, this included the purchase of code-able robots and a Makers Empire subscription for local students. Other grants funded workshops on worm farming, seed bombing and beneficial bugs!
