Series of in-person and online workshops to introduce 3D printing into the community, allowing people of all ages and backgrounds to access a critical technology shaping the future.
During Science Week, East Manjimup Primary School will hold 2 workshops (up to 12 participants each) for community members to attend in person, exploring the basics of 3D printing: how it works, where to find objects for printing, and how to modify\design new objects to suit their particular requirement. Participants will be allowed to print an object to take home, without charge. The printing will take time and will be delivered to them when ready.
An additional two workshops, with one conducted after hours, will be held online over Webex.
A video recording covering the same content of the workshops, along with other supporting documents and resources will also be promoted on the School's website and social media, and through the Shire and affilated businesses and community groups.
In person workshops: 17 August at 10am and 3:30pm in the meeting room at the Manjimup Shire
Community Centre
Webinar: 24 August at 10am and 6pm, web link TBC
